Kayaking with the Kids! January 2016

The St Johns was the river of choice today. With the kids in tandems we set off to find the Manatees and do some winter time paddling in Florida. Staying up close to the tree line we found four Manatees feeding among the water plants. There were lots of Snake Birds out sunning. Along with the Little Blue Herons we saw Wild Turkeys, White Ibis, Great Blues, Great Egrets and Snowy Egrets out and about. After our lunch break we headed back into the warm sun and then the Manatees really showed themselves! What a great group and a great day to be on the river.

Hi, Kenny and Jen,
We wanted to give you a huge THANK YOU for what ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip to Florida in January. Kenny was the perfect guide, and with his expertise and help we were able to have a fantastic day out on the water. For each of us in the group, this tour was our favorite thing (better than Disney!). We hope to see you again on a trip in the future.
